Hi, I'm Dr. Eric and I'm the chiropractor here at Health First Wellness Center. I attended National University in Lombard, IL and graduated in 2014. I enjoy working with athletes, using functional rehabilitation and full body exercises. In addition to adjustments, I like to incorporate other modalities into my practice; such as soft tissue mobilizations and acupuncture.
Dr. Lorenz is dedicated to getting you out of physical pain. His main art of healing is Naprapathy, a form of hands on manual medicine. His clients find pain relief through his expertise, approach, and intuition.
He blends modern Naprapathic techniques with holistic disciplines like Cupping and Gua Sha. Dr. Lorenz’s techniques are performed at a low velocity, meaning the mobilization is applied more gradually than a Chiropractic manipulation. He makes it a goal to locate and remove the true cause of your pain.
He really values working with this amazing group at Health First and can think of no better cohesive medical group dedicated to helping the local community. He is also very grateful for the wonderful clients that he works with and loves the positive energy in the clinic.
Dr. Lorenz graduated Valedictorian from the National College of Naprapathic Medicine in Chicago. Prior to that he received his Bachelors in Integrative Biology at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Hi there! Inspired by my many years spent being mindful of nutrition as a figure skater, I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Delaware. Continuing my pursuit of my dietetics career, I graduated with my Master’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Northern Illinois University and obtained an additional Graduate Certificate in Eating Disorders and Obesity. My approach combines holistic and functional nutrition, as I have had extensive experience working to improve nutrition with patients suffering from a variety of health concerns including, butnot limited to: cardiovascular health, diabetes, digestive health, eating disorders, metabolic health, pain management, sports nutrition, and weight loss.My patient-centered care recognizes the importance of an individual’s health and lifestyle as avenues for behavior changes related to nutrition, while promoting one’s overall health and wellness. I believe, as T. Colin Campbell once said, “Good nutrition creates health in all areas of our existence. All parts are interconnected.”
